Imagine a scenario where life can evolve from a certain set of characteristics. The path to life set by series of routes defined by the characteristics of chemicals, both reactive and physical. Structures can only be set up in a limited number of forms so that the eventual goals are always predefined.

Imagine you are a product of that evolution. You see your eventual future. In one case due to just chance of almost infinite numbers, one goes slightly wrong and produces something fractionally different with a different but still predefined outcome.

Your experience has been a combination of logic and knowledge. Things always right and correct and you know almost immortality.

The uniqueness of that individual and the varying outcome piques your curiosity and quest for knowledge, so you introduce ‘mistakes,’ and realise the infinite possibilities.

Now your experience becomes a combination of logic, knowledge and the infinite. There are now no bounds.

In your form you cannot experience the infinite, so you create a set of building blocks that differ from the programmed channels and send it off into the universe to generate that infinite variation, hoping for it to return to experience the multitude of outcomes. By nature it can learn, but having a shorter life will lose information, re-learn it badly, and make new outcomes and situations, no two being the same. Diversity in all forms with diverse and unknowable destinies.

Things may appear stupid, illogical, and not make sense, but they now have no limit, unless you choose to control and terminate your outcomes or aspire to revert to the original.

A machine or computer can give you exactly what you want, but your mistakes and what you do with them define who you are.
